SHA-256 verification
Nova publishes a SHA-256 checksum for the setup file. A matching checksum means the downloaded installer is byte-for-byte identical to the file published by Nova OS Consulting.

Windows SmartScreen status
Nova is newly released and the current installer may show a Microsoft SmartScreen warning while publisher reputation is being built. Code signing is planned for upcoming Windows releases. Until then, verify the official domain and checksum before installing.
Privacy boundaries
Nova is local-first where possible. Desktop actions run on your device. Cloud AI features are used only when a requested task needs online AI or web research. See the Privacy Policy for account data, product telemetry and support handling.
